Sources of fashion info and jobs
Fashion Monitor and career websites are promoting new jobs, contacts within the fashion and beauty industry, fashion & beauty news and events. It covers lots of information within all these titles so you can look into what you're interested in more. It can help me keep up to date with fashion news like product launches, new campaigns and staff staff moves in industry. Up to date with events like launches and catwalk shows and provide me with contacts in the industry so I can apply for a job or work experience. Most importantly I can see what jobs are available and even give insight to ones I may not have thought about so much before. In the future I can use them to look for job vacancies and they'd also help give me an idea of what kind of jobs are available, where they are, what the responsibilities would be for the job and what skills and requirements i'd need for it. I can then see if the job suits me and if i fit the requirements then I have the details to apply!
Fashion career agencies promote themselves and good jobs to help you sign up to them and then they promote you to employees and help you find a good job to fit what you're looking for. They call you and notify you if something new comes up they think may be of interest which would be helpful especially if you have another job on the go and don't have as much time to search for jobs.
It could really benefit me in the future signing up to them so they could help me on my way to finding an appropriate job in fashion.
